Research Overview

The Center for Metabolic Health (CMH) builds on UT Health San Antonio’s strengths in metabolism and nutrition research, education, and clinical programs. CMH seeks to foster communication and collaboration between investigators and clinicians with a shared interest in metabolic health including obesity, type 2 diabetes, liver function, behavioral change strategies, exercise, recovery from inactivity (e.g., bed rest, hospitalization, casting), and physical activity.
